Abstract

ABSTRACT Facing the current industrial era 4.0, the demand for electricity in Indonesia continues to increase, and increasing electricity requires the availability of efficient and quality electrical energy. Efficient means that the power generated can be distributed optimally to consumers without losing power such as in the network system or electrical equipment. Power losses occur because of several factors including corona factors, leakage of insulators and types or conductors used to transmit electrical energy so that the voltage also decreases or commonly called a voltage drop. To reduce the power losses that are so large, PT. PLN re-conducts by using ACCC Lisbon type conductors replacing previous conductors of its type that is ACSR 240/40 mm2 where ACCC Lisbon type conductors have greater current conductivity. In this study an analysis of the 150 kV high voltage transmission line power rod Batang - Pekalongan was carried out by monitoring and recording current, voltage and power values in the transformer panel at 11.00 a.m and 07.00 p.m, then the data are used to find the value of power losses and will then be compared with the results of the calculation analysis using the nominal π method. Power losses in July 2018 for ACSR 240/40 mm2 conductors were 11,67057805 MW and for ACCC Lisbon conductors were 4,209515808 MW. One month's rupiah loss was borne by PLN due to a loss of Rp. 312,948,884.48 for ACSR 240/40 mm2 conductors while the losses in ACCC Lisbon conductors is Rp. 112,879,008.28. The average transmission line efficiency for ACSR 240/40 mm2 conductors is 99.39%. While the average transmission efficiency of Lisbon ACCC conductors is at 99.62%. Using the nominal calculation method rata with the average send and receive power for one month The results show that the average power for the ACSR 240/40 mm2 conductor at the sender side of PS = 49.67 MW and the calculation results use nominal receiving side of PR= 50.86 MW with an error difference of 2.33%. For the type of ACCC Lisbon conductor, the average power value of the sender obtained is PS = 33.36 MW and for the calculation results using the nominal method receiving side power of PR = 31.71 MW with an error difference of 4.94%.
