Abstract

Good dentak health is everyone expectation, but in fact people attention to dental health is still very low. Most of them forget to care about their dental health. It can bee seen from the emergence of dental caries and hollow teeth. The main symptoms of a dental health problems start from the emergence of the dental caries that grow worse to dental nerve disturbances and this causes severe pain. This happens because most of the people give low attention to children dental care, especially those under 12 years old. This research aims to develop a system which help classify dental helath disturbances of under 12 years old children and help parents manage children diet patterns. The classification uses K-Nearest Neigboar Method ehich can classify caries emergence. This research has data sample of 37 conditioned respondents, 37 patient data, 3 test with attribute of about 8 diseases data with category score 2 which means mild and good. These data will be input to the system and consulted with conditioned data with tense score set before that is 3,5,7 and is processed by the system to result tense category of 3 which means average, 5 means average and 7 means good. This can be inferred that tense score influence the disease category resulted by the system. The higher the tense score means the bigger number of the conditioned data. This system can be used to help people identify dental caries diseases with accurate tense score. Key words: System, K-nearest neighbor method application, Dental caries diseases
