Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop interactive learning media on desktop grade 10 basic programming subjects. The development of this learning media uses Adobe Flash Professional CS6, XAMPP, Notepad ++, CorelDRAW X7 and Adobe Photoshop Professional CS6 software. The development model used in this study is the Luther development model which consists of 6 stages, namely concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing and distribution. Testing is done using alpha testing and beta testing. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The alpha testing consists of a media expert test and a material expert test, while beta testing involves students of class X Multimedia at SMK Ma'arif 1 Yogyakarta. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The products produced include intros, instructions, basic competencies, profiles, materials, evaluations and references. The intro section contains the title of learning media. The basic competency section contains the competencies and learning indicators that are in accordance with the syllabus. The instructions section contains instructions for using instructional media. Material section gives material that includes text, audio & video. The profile section contains biodata. The evaluation section contains evaluation instructions and there is also a multiple choice evaluation. The reference section contains a list of references used as reference material. In the basic competency section, the material and references are linked to the XML file while in the learning media title, the class and evaluation questions are already connected to the database, making it easier for the teacher to change the question material and their friends; 2) the product developed is feasible and can be used as a learning aid in terms of the assessment of media experts covering aspects of display quality, audio & video quality, and technical quality aspects. Of the three aspects, it obtained an average of 4.13, equivalent to 82.6% of the maximum value of 5 and is still included in the excellent category. Expert assessment of the material includes aspects of the quality of the contents and objectives and aspects of instructional quality. From both aspects, the result is 3.9, which is equivalent to 78% of the maximum value of 5 and is still included in the excellent category. The results of the user / user assessment of interactive learning media on basic programming subjects obtained 3.9 results equivalent to 78% of the maximum value of 5 and are included in both categories.
