Abstract
ABSTRAK The automatic control system on the device at home is one of the actual topics of discussion. Automatic systems on existing equipment at home make it easier for humans to do work which can be done easily. One of them is the use of android for controlling and monitoring devices at home. Many electronic devices at home are now integrated with mobile devices / smartphones. This study aims to design an automatic home control system which is to facilitate human activities in the home such as turning off or turning on lights and fans by using Android as a controller and using Wifi esp8266 as a communication tool. The result shows that Android can replace switches for controlling appliances at home. By using the Smart Home System Equipped with Control and Visualization Based on IoT (Internet of Things) using Arduino Mega it can facilitate human work, because it is not impossible anymore in this modern era something will be integrated with one of the technological devices, namely Android.
