Abstract

ABSTRAK KWh Meter as a calculation tool for electrical energy usage is a common thing used by household customers as well as in boarding houses. In boarding houses that have lots of rooms often only have one KWh at the corner of the house and make monthly payment fees from room to one another evenly equaled even though it should be different. A prototype Kwh Meter for boarding rooms using an Arduino Uno microcontroller that is connected to the Current sensor and Voltage sensor modules will later be used to monitor the use of the boarding house itself so that later in the payment can find out how much should be paid properly. This tool is also combined with a GSM module which later can send the results of monitoring smartphone users so that it can be monitored remotely via a smartphone. The methods used are Observation, Interview, Documentation Study, and Tool Making. The results of the prototype monitoring tool KWh on the load used have a slight difference in reading but work well. Kata kunci : KWh Meter, Arduino Uno Microcontroller, Current Sensor, Voltage sensor, GSM Module, Smartphone.
