Abstract
ABSTRACT In plant cultivation, the availability of water is very important. Plant seeds cannot live and develop well if the water in the soil does not meet the needs. For this reason, it is necessary to water the seeds regularly. The availability of water during plant nurseries must be carefully considered. if there is a shortage of water the seeds will dry out and eventually die. Conversely, if there is excess water, the seeds will rot. Currently, watering seeds and mature plants is done by human labor so it requires energy and a long time. In overcoming this problem, a prototype of an automatic watering plant using PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) as a control system can be programmed to control and regulate the process of watering plant seeds that can be adjusted according to water requirements. RTC (Real Time Clock) will provide input to the PLC to set the output in the form of time scheduling. Keywords : watering plants , time scheduling, PLC, RTC
