Abstract

Electric power is a primary need for human life, this is because almost all human needs equipment uses electricity. There are many factors that can influence the life of a transformer, including the influence of ambient temperature, transformer oil temperature, loading pattern, transformer material quality, oil quality, weather, oxygen content, air humidity and management of the transformer. The higher the demand for electricity from consumers, the greater the burden borne by the substation. The substation will overload if the electrical load borne by the substation is higher and exceeds the capacity of the substation. This study focuses on the ability of the transformer with the influence of loading and shrinkage on the transformer's age. In this study, it can be seen how much the life loss of the transformer if it is burdened. Based on the results of research on godean substations each year an average increase in LWBP of 3% and WBP of 5%. For transformer II it is predicted that in 2020 it will be overloaded so it will need to be reconfigured and in 2028 transformers I and II will overload so it will need to increase capacity in transformer II to 60MVA and be reconfigured. Keywords: Electricity, Transformer, Load up to Transformer Age.
