Abstract

Electricity needs in the current technological era is very important. The amount of electricity consumption from time to time tends to increase, the amount of which can not be determined with certainty. For this reason, electricity load forecasting is needed so that the generated electricity load is as needed. This study estimates the short-term electricity load in the city of Yogyakarta, with predictor variables using electrical loads and past surface temperatures. Estimate the electricity load using the Fuzzy Mamdani Logic method with centroid defuzification. From the results of the research conducted, obtained the results of fuzzy logic models that are used using six inputs, namely load 1, temperature 1, load 2, temperature 2, load 3, and temperature 3 as well as one output namely forecast load. There are five variables in the load namely very small, small, medium, large, and very large. There are three variables in temperature, namely low, medium and high. The load and temperature membership function uses a triangle curve representation. Estimated electricity load on March 14, 2019 to produce MAPE of 2,445%. On March 15, 2019 MAPE amounted to 2,556%.
