Abstract
This final paper is about anger expression. The objectives of this final paper are to find out the anger expression in Slipknot’s songs lyric.The researcher analyzed each anger expression using Mack Le Mouse. In this final paper, the researcher tried to explore anger expression, types of anger expression, and the songs lyric that belong to anger expression. This final paper is descriptive qualitative study because the data are expressions of anger expression in Slipknot’s songs lyric. The researcher used the note taking technique because all of data are taken from the songs lyric. After collecting the sentences that have anger expression, the researcher tried to analyzed them by using Mack Le Mouse. Based on the analysis, there are two results that the researcher found in Slipknot’s songs lyric. First, the researcher found seven types of anger expresiion. It can be categorized as verbal anger is 31 or 40%. The second type are contructive anger is 13 or 17% and judgemental anger is 12 or 16%, passive anger is 8 or 10%, deliberate anger 6 or 8%, overhelmed anger is 4 or 5%, and last with paranoid anger 3 or 4%.
