Abstract
Al-Munawwir Islamic Boarding School was founded by KH. Muhammad Munawwir bin Abdullah Rosyad on November 15, 1911 AD, and Al-Munawwir Islamic Boarding School Krapyak Complex "L" is one of the male-only pondok complexes that are part of the Al-Munawwir Islamic Boarding School in Krapyak. The election of the Head of the Islamic Boarding School is held every year to help all the activities that exist in the current Pondok. The system used to determine the head of the Islamic boarding school is still subjective and there have been errors in calculations and data of candidates several times. The system will be developed using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. SAW is a weighted sum method with the concept of finding a weighted sum of the performance ratings of each alternative on all attributes. The results that will be produced are the final results in the form of final scores and ranks of each pesantren head candidate from the calculation system developed using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method.
