Abstract

Dyscalculia is a learning disorder in mathematics caused by neurological disorders or abnormalities in the nervous system that affect a person's ability to receive, process, analyze, and store certain information. Children with dyscalculia find it difficult to do tasks related to numbers or mathematical symbols. The dyscalculic child has difficulty distinguishing numbers such as the number 2 and the number 5, the number 3 and the number 8, the dyscalculic child also has difficulty when asked to work on adding or subtracting other difficulties. The dyscalcular child is difficult to sort the correct numbers. The purpose of this research is the making of games for learning media and therapeutic children's therapy. The making of this game uses Construct 2 as a game engine and Firebase as a database to store names and scores achieved by children. The method used in the therapy process is the Rehearsal method or learning to repeat, in the learning model the child will be introduced to numbers continuously and repeat it again. The purpose of repeating the material is so that the material or lessons given to children are absorbed in their entirety and stored in the child's memory. The results showed that children have increased in solving problems after being given a game. Children also prefer therapy with games rather than having to be taught directly by the therapist. The conclusion of the research is that therapy with games and rehearsal methods can help cure dyscalculic children. Keywords: Dyscalculia, Rehearsal, Therapy.
