Abstract
At present, the use of internet services as a means of obtaining information is increasing. Due to its wide reach, the internet is ideal when it is used as a promotional tool and a means of publishing information. The purpose of making this web program is to promote the company as well as providing services to customers regarding on-line booking tickets. The internet is a very potential medium for developing a dynamic and wide-scale information system. Internet enables us to obtain information about anything easily and quickly. Based on the various conveniences and usages owned by the internet, an "Online Bus Ticket Booking System" was developed. This Web-based Online Ticket Booking System is made with PHP, MySQL and Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 Software. This information system is designed to be able to provide convenience in terms of ticket booking services and to give other information needed by customers, especially for the services of Po. Ranau Indah (Pt.sma) Sumatra Jakarta Keywords: Web Applications, Online Bus Tickets, PHP and MySQL.
