Abstract
Bu Menik Bakpia is a trading business located in Pondok, Condongcatur, Depok, Sleman districts. Its location is not far from Condongcatur bus station. It makes the access to Bakpia Bu Menik easy even though it has to pass a narrow alley. The marketing of the products of Bakpia Bu Menik is done through direct interaction with buyers, so that buyers are required to come to the store to know what products are sold. Data processing of the products sold is still carrid out manually by writing directly in a book. Then it is required a system that can provide information on what products are sold, complete the data processing of selling and the sales transaction. In the process of building this information system, researcher uses PHP programming language and MySQL as the data base. In making this system, there is an administrator to control all information relating to the layout of products and selling data management, as well as menu facilities for customer to obtain information and do transactions. Information systems that is made aims to facilitate the seller in doing selling transaction, marketing and management of the selling data, and to ease the customers to get information of products sold and to make transaction directly. The customers can make the transactions more effectively. The conclusion obtained from this study is that the system is able to improve the control of product data and to improve products selling effectively.
