Abstract

Currently there are many companies or business actors that use e-commerce as support system of the old one to make it more effective and efficient. Mbak Ning Collection store is a micro business that engages in selling various kinds of shoe products. It does not have a support system for its business activities yet. Hence in the matters of product promotion and product sales, it still uses conventional methods that have not been able to reach wider market. Then it needs a system that can provide solutions to these problems to improve store management in terms of service and marketing. The support system is set forth by the writer in the form of a final project entitled "The e-Commerce Application Design of Shoes selling”. The proposed system is a web-based e-commerce system that improves the old system to make it more effective and efficient in terms of promotion and marketing. The system can also provide shoe product recommendations based on several determined criteria to ease the customers to choose the desired shoe product. This web-based e-commerce system can affect the sales turnover of the Mbak Ning Collection Store because the customers do not only come from nearby places, but also from far away ones. Keywords : E-Commerce, Website, System, Simple Additive weighting (SAW), Web.
