Abstract
Penelitian ini didasari dengan keadaan mahasiswa Indonesia yang mengundurkn dari perkuliahan karena jurusan yang diambil tidak sesuai dengan minat, dan melihat fenomena mahasiswa Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta dalam pengambilan keputusan untuk memilih jurusan. Sedangkan menurut Gizberg anak usi 18-24 tahun sudah berorientasi dan realistis dengan sudah menentukan perencanaan karir dengan matang dan memilih pekerjaan yang diinginkan. Maka dari itu peneliti menciptakan sebuah media yang mampu mengidentifikasi arah minat karir. Berdasarkan data dari Kemenristek Dikti, Statistik Pendidikan Tinggi di Indonesia tahun 2017 Jumlah Mahasiswa Aktif Terdaftar Menurut Bentuk Pendidikan Tiap Provinsi sebanyak 6.924.511 mahasiswa, dari 6.924.511 mahasiswa, masih ada yang mengalami kesalahan jurusan atau tidak sesuai dengan jurusan yang ditempuhnya saat kuliah yang berujung pada pengunduran diri/DO. Berdasarkan data dari Kemristek Dikti tentang Statistik Pendidikan di Indonesia tahun 2017 menunjukan bahwa angka putus pendidikan/kuliah sebesar 195.176 mahasiswa. Dari data mahasiswa yang mengundurkan diri di Indonesia cukup tinggi, yaitu mencapai 2,8%. Dari hasil penyebaran kuesioner secara acak kepada 590 mahasiswa Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta, 279 mahasiswa atau 47,3% mengaku belum pernah menemui media yang mampu mengarahkan minatnya, 79 mahasiswa memilih jurusan tidak sesuai dengan minat atau setara dengan 13,4%, sedangkan 340 mahasiswa atau setara 57,8% merasa khawatir jika pekerjaan yang dimasuki tidak sesuai dengan jurusan yang di ambil saat kuliah, 324 mahasiswa atau 55,2% mengaku masih kurang paham dalam memahami pemilihan sebuah pekerjaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul dengan materi perencanaan karir berdasarkan teori Hexagonal karir Holland modul yang dikembangkan yang sudah di validasi oleh 2 ahli materi Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan uji kelayakan dari Validator didapatkan nilai 77,875% atau 78% . Maka, media tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Modul Perencanaan Karir Berdasarkan Hexagonal Holland dikatakan Layak digunakan sebagai media yang membantu seseorang dalam merencanakan karirnya sesuai dengan pada remaja. Kata kunci: Karir, Modul dan Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta This research was based on the condition of Indonesian students who quitted college because the majors they took were not in accordance with their interests, and the phenomenon of University of Technology Yogyakarta students in deciding to choose their majors. Meanwhile, according to Gizberg, children aged 18-24 years have been oriented and challenged by already determining career planning carefully and choosing the desired job. Therefore, the researcher created a medium that was able to direct the students career interests. Based on data from Kemenristek Dikti, Higher Education Statistics in Indonesia in 2017, the Number of Active Students Registered According to the Form of Education in each Province was 6,924,511 students, out of 6,924,511 students. There were still those who took the wrong major or one which did not match the majors they liked during college which lead to resignation / DO (dropped out). Based on data from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education on Education Statistics in Indonesia in 2017, it showed that the dropout rate for college was 195,176 students. From the data of students who quitted college in Indonesia was quite high, reaching 2.8%. From the results of the distribution of questionnaires randomly to 590 students of University of Technology Yogyakarta, 279 students or 47.3% claimed to have never met media that could direct their interests, 79 students chose majors not in accordance with their interests or equivalent to 13.4%, while 340 students or equivalent to 57.8% felt worried if the work got was not in accordance with the majors taken while in college, 324 students or 55.2% claimed to still lack understanding in understanding the selection of a job. This study aimed to produce media that form modules with career planning materials that were in accordance with interests based on the developed Holland media theory which had been validated by 2 material experts. The results of this study based on the feasibility test of the validator obtained a value of 77.875% or 78%. The media can decide the Career Planning Module Based on Hexagonal Holland and deserves to be used as a medium that helps someone in managing their career according to their interests in adolescents.
