Abstract
Drying clothes is a daily activity that is no less important with the goal of clothing being able to dry quickly, and therefore a control system is designed that can help dry clothes automatically. Fuzzy control logic is an artificial intelligence application method that is relatively easy and flexible when used for this problem, designed not too mathematically. One implementation of the fuzzy logic control system is to set the PWM value of the fan rotation automatically in the clothesline by using the Sugeno fuzzy logic method. To implement the design, a sensor as input is needed in the form of a DHT22 sensor that can read the temperature and humidity values, also requires an Arduino Uno microcontroller to apply the fuzzy system into the programming language that can be received by outputs in the form of a 12V fan. The basic structure of fuzzy itself consists of four stages, namely fuzzification, rule base, inference, and defuzzification. From the tests that have been done and comparing the results of DHT22 measurements with MATLAB software produces an error of 1.6%, and the tool designed can dry wet clothing in an enclosed space for 9 hours.
