Abstract
ABSTRAK Sekolah musik adalah suatu lembaga yang memfokuskan pendidikannya ke bidang seni musik sebagai satu pelajaran utama yang di latar belakangi dengan antusiasme masyarakat di kota Ambon dalam bermusik guna untuk mengembangkan potensi bermusik generasi mudanya ke depan serta menjadi pusat pendidikan, pertunjukan dan informasi. Pada tanggal 5 Agustus 2016, Badan Ekonomi Kreatif membuat MoU dengan pemerintah kota Ambon, demi tujuan perancangan kota Ambon sebagai Kota Musik Dunia. Dimana MoU ini membicarakan mengenai pelaksanaan pengembangan ekonomi kreatif untuk mendukung pembangunan Ambon sebagai Kota Musik Dunia versi UNESCO dan program kegiatan sub sektor Ekonomi Kreatif lainnya. Untuk diketahui, bahwa UNESCO- memiliki hak untuk mencanangkan suatu kota menjadi Kota Kreatif. Dimana yang terdapat 7 sektor kreatif yang bisa dipilih oleh kota kandidat antara lain: Kerajinan Seni Tradisional, Desain, Film, Kuliner, Sastra, Media Seni, dan Musik. Dalam hal ini kota Ambon memilih untuk menjadi kandidat dalam sektor Musik. Untuk itu diperlukan sarana penunjang kegiatan utama yakni bermusik berupa Sekolah Musik. Kota Ambon juga memiliki masalah dalam krisisnya kebudayaan serta identitas daerah yang mengkhawatirkan karena akulturasi budaya. Mengembalikan jati diri sebuah identitas daerah bisa di terapkan kedalam suatu karya arsitektur yang bisa meninggalkan kesan atau presepsi orang terhadap tempat keberadaan yang memang mencirikhaskan suatu daerah dalam karya arsitektur. Kata kunci : sekolah musik, Kota Ambon, arsitektur regionalisme. ABSTRACT Music school is an institution that focuses its education in the field of music as one of the main lessons that is motivated by the enthusiasm of the people in Ambon in music to develop the potential of future young generation music and become a center for education, performance and information. On August 5, 2016, the Creative Economy Agency made an MoU with the Ambon city government, for the purpose of designing Ambon city as the World Music City. This MoU is about implementing the creative economy development to support the development of Ambon as the UNESCO World Music City version and other Creative Economy sub sector activity programs. To note, UNESCO has the right to declare a city into a Creative City. Where there are 7 creative sectors that can be selected by the candidate cities, among others: Traditional Arts Crafts, Design, Film, Culinary, Literature, Media Arts, and Music. In this case the city of Ambon chose to become a candidate in the Music sector. For this reason, it is necessary to support the main activities namely music in the form of a Music School. Ambon City also has problems in the cultural crisis and regional identity which is worrying because of cultural acculturation. Restoring the identity of a regional identity can be applied into an architectural work that can leave an impression or perception of people towards a place of existence that indeed characterizes an area in an architectural work.
