Abstract
This research aims to find out the achievement of the tenth grade Multimedia students in writing narrative text using CIAYO comic application and to find out the factors that affected their achievement. The participants of this research were tenth-grade Multimedia 1 students of SMK N 1 Godean, consisting of 34 students. The research method applied was quantitative descriptive in which the data were collected through test and questionnaire. The writing narrative test conducted to collect the data related to the achievement of students in writing narrative text, and the questionnaire was to find out the factors that can affect students’ achievement in writing narrative text. The result of the research shows the mean score of students’ achievements in writing narrative text using CIAYO comics application was 2.92 or fair. The achievement of students could affect by (1) students like writing subject in English but never practice in writing; (2) students feel difficulty in developing their idea and choose vocabulary.
