Abstract
ABSTRAK Provinsi Riau memiliki presentase umat islam terbanyak dari jumlah penduduknya. Dinamika dan modernisasi perkembangan zaman dewasa ini diantaranya menggerus pemahaman umat islam terhadap nilai-nilai islam dan tidak jarang memicu terjadinya perbedaan pendapat antar masyarakat. Pencegahan dini perkembangan fenomena sosial yang negatif ini perlu dilakukan, salah satunya dengan pengembangan pendidikan dini bagi anak dan remaja dalam pemahaman pendalaman islam yang berpatokan kepada alquran dan hadist sebagai pedoman utama. Upaya ini peru didukung dengan pembangunan islamic center sebagai fasilitas yang dapat mewadahi kegiatan-kegiatan agama, sosial pendidikan, dan kebudayaan islam. Rancangan islamic center dapat diwujudkan melalui metode bersifat analisis kualitatif-korelatif, yaitu mencari serta menetapkan adanya kesesuaian serta hubungan antara data dengan teori-teori terkait dalam upaya menyelesaikan masalah yang lebih lanjut dikembangkan sintesanya dan diimplementasikan sebagai konsep perancangan. Pengembangan konsep dilakukan dengan berpijak pada pendekatan arsitektur islam. Zonasi dibagi dengan pengelompokkan zonasi hablumminallah dan zonasi hambluminannas. Bentuk massa dikembangkan melalui transformasi gerakan sholat “sujud” dan mempertimbangkan hasil analisis eksisting site sehingga menggunakan atap miring. Penerapan ornamen terdapat pada dinding, plafon, pintu, serta pola lantai, dengan kaligrafi dan pola geomtetri. Pengaturan akustik diolah melalui variasi bentuk plafon. Pencahayaan ruang menggunakan pencahayaan alami dan pencahayaan buatan. Kata kunci: Arsitektur Islam, Islamic Center, Pendidikan. ABSTRACT Riau Province has the largest percentage of Muslims of its population. The dynamics and modernization of today's developments include eroding the understanding of Muslims towards Islamic values and often trigger differences of opinion between communities. Early prevention of the development of negative social phenomena needs to be done, one of which is by developing early education for children and adolescents in the deepening understanding of Islam based on the Koran and hadith as the main guidelines. This effort needs to be supported by the construction of an Islamic center as a facility that can accommodate religious activities, social education, and Islamic culture. The design of an Islamic center can be realized through a qualitative-correlative analysis method, which is to find and determine the suitability and relationship between the data and related theories in an effort to solve problems which are further developed and implemented as a design concept. Concept development is carried out based on the Islamic architectural approach. Zoning divided by hablumminallah zoning and hambluminannas zoning. The shape of the mass is developed through the transformation of the prayer movement "prostration" and considering the results of the analysis of the existing site so that it uses a sloping roof. The application of ornaments can be found on walls, ceilings, doors, and floor patterns, with calligraphy and geometric patterns. Acoustic arrangements are processed through a variety of ceiling shapes. Space lighting uses natural lighting and artificial lighting. Keywords: Islamic Architecture, Islamic Center, Education.
