Abstract
ABSTRAK Pulau Pisang Gadang merupakan salah satu objek wisata yang termasuk dalam kawasan wisata Pantai Air Manis di Kota Padang. Menurut Dinas Pariwisata Kota Padang, Pantai Air Manis merupakan salah satu kawasan wisata yang menjadi fokus pembenahan pemerintah, dalam program kerja Pembenahan Destinasi Wisata Terpadu Gunung Padang. Dengan anggaran sebesar Rp15 miliar dari Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara (APBN), pemerintah Kota Padang telah memulai revitalisasi Pantai Air Manis pada awal Agustus tahun lalu. Pantai ini memiliki potensi wisata yang cukup besar terlihat dari jumlah pengunjung yang banyak di hari libur maupun hari besar dan selalu meningkat setiap tahunnya. Namun peningkatan jumlah wisatawan tidak diimbangi dengan perkembangan jumlah akomodasi yang rekreatif. Berdasarkan kebutuhan penginapan yang rekreatif di kawasan tersebut untuk menunjang potensi alam Pulau Pisang Gadang, penerapan konsep Recreational Space pada desain beach resort dengan penekanan menciptakan akomodasi yang menyenangkan dan membuat orang nyaman. Metode yang digunakan dalam Perancangan Beach Resort, lebih menekankan kepada permasalahan apa yang ada pada kawasan objek rancangan yakni pada daerah Pulau Pisang. Selain itu terdapat beberapa literatur yang dapat digunakan dan menjadi standar dalam Perancangan Beach Resort. Sehingga dapat menghasilkan rancangan beach resort yang tidak hanya mampu memenuhi kebutuhan akomodasi di Kecamatan Padang Selatan, namun juga mampu menyediakan fasilitas rekreasi dengan pendekatan recreational space. Kata kunci: Akomodasi, Beach resort, Pariwisata, Recreational space. ABSTRACT Pisang Gadang Island is one of the tourist objects included in the tourist area of Air Manis Beach in Padang City. According to the Padang City Tourism Office, Air Manis Beach is one of the tourist areas that is the focus of reforming the government, in the work program of Improving the Integrated Tourism Destinations of Mount Padang. With a budget of Rp. 15 billion from the State Budget (APBN), the Padang City government started the revitalization of Air Manis Beach in early August last year. This beach has a large enough tourism potential as seen from the large number of visitors on holidays and holidays and always increases every year. However, the increase in the number of tourists has not been matched by the development of the number of recreational accommodation. Based on the need for recreational accommodation in the area to support the natural potential of Pisang Gadang Island, it is necessary to apply the concept of Recreational Space to the design of a beach resort with an emphasis on creating pleasant accommodation and making people comfortable. The method used in the design of the Beach Resort emphasizes more on what problems exist in the design object area, namely in the Pisang Island area. In addition, there are some literature that can be used and become a standard in Beach Resort Design, so that it can produce a beach resort design that is not only able to meet accommodation needs in South Padang District, but is also able to provide recreational facilities with a recreational space approach.
