Abstract
ABSTRAK Bandara Internasional APT Pranoto Samarinda merupakan salah satu bandar udara termuda di Indonesia yang memiliki fungsi penting dalam menopang sistem transportasi bagi masyarakat. Pengembangan Bandara tersebut adalah bentuk keseriusan pemerintah Kalimantan Timur dalam menyediakan fasilitas transportasi udara bagi masyarakat Kota Samarinda sebagai penunjang kemajuan perekonomian dan pariwisata, agar potensi yang ada dapat dikembangkan secara maksimal. Sejak dibuka pada bulan Oktober 2018 Terminal Bandara Internasional APT Pranoto terus mengalami peningkatan jumlah penumpang secara signifikan. Selain karena kelebihan kapasitas jumlah penumpang, pemindahan Ibu Kota Negara ke Provinsi Kalimantan Timur yang baru saja ditetapkan oleh pemerintah pusat juga menjadi alasan kuat mengapa perlu dilakukannya penambahan terminal di Bandara tersebut. Dalam Perancangannya Terminal II Bandara Internasional APT Pranoto akan melayani penerbangan Domestik dan Internasional. Perancangan tersebut akan menggunkan pendekatan smart building, dimana penerapan konsep bangunan pintar ini akan menerapkan metode efisiensi terhadap penggunaan energi. Penggunaan elemen smart dan inovasi pada material, struktur, dan sistem automasi pada teknologi diharapkan dapat menghasilkan bangunan Terminal yang ramah terhadap lingkungan. Kata kunci: APT Pranoto Airport, Samarinda, Smart Building ABSTRACT APT Pranoto International Airport Samarinda is one of the youngest airports in Indonesia which has an important function in supporting the transportation system for the community. The airport development is a form of the seriousness of the East Kalimantan government in providing air transportation facilities for the people of Samarinda City as a support for economic and tourism progress, so that the existing potential can be maximally developed. Since opening in October 2018, the APT Pranoto International Airport Terminal has continued to experience a significant increase in passenger numbers. Apart from the excess capacity of the number of passengers, the relocation of the State Capital to East Kalimantan Province which was recently determined by the central government is also a strong reason why it is necessary to add more terminals at the airport. In its design, Terminal II of APT Pranoto International Airport will serve Domestic and International flights. The design will use a smart building approach, where the application of this smart building concept will apply an efficient method of energy use. The use of smart elements and innovations in materials, structures and automation systems in technology are expected to produce terminal buildings that are friendly to the environment.
