Abstract
ABSTRACT Car Rental is a business entity in the field of vehicle rental services in the form of private cars. Car loan and return information systems at CV. Mugi-Mugi Berkah Travel is considered ineffective because the recording of borrowing data, returning data, and daily transactions along with manual reports. It is inefficient in term of time, effort, and material aspects. This study aims to determine the current system, design system, and implement a system. This study aims to build a web-based car rental information system at CV. Mugi-Mugi Berkah Travel. In building the system, a structured approach method used a prototype development method, while data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. Analysis and design tools used flow-maps, context diagrams, and data flow diagrams. The supporting software used was Visual Study Code, Xampp, and SQLyog. The results of this research showed that with the construction of a car loan and return information system help employees in managing customer data, borrowing, returning and reducing errors in the data recording process and reducing errors in reporting.
