Abstract
ABSTRACT C.V Wira Karya Lestari is one of construction and service companies in the sector of construction and infrastructure (contractors) in Riau. It has difficulties in managing project and project cost data because all processes are still carried out conventionally. Therefore, it is needed a project management information system to makes it easy in recording, calculating, scheduling, and managing project transactions. The purpose of this research is to design a website-based project management information system to facilitate data management and project transactions. The design of information systems used were the programming language PHP, HTML, and uses MySQL for the database. Furthermore, the researcher analyzed the problems occur in the object. The system approach used was structured analysis and design methods using data-oriented of C.V. Wira Karya Lestari. The structured approach is carried out using several tools and engineering techniques, such as flowcharts, data flow diagrams (DFD), relation diagrams (ERD), and system interface design. This Project Management Information System provided convenience in calculating, monitoring, managing project transaction data, and producing reports to assist the company in analyzing and taking the best action for the progress of the company.
