Abstract
ABSTRACT Provision of prescription or non-prescription medicine is an example of pharmaceutical practice in pharmacies. Currently, the existing system at Tina Farma Pharmacy is still using a conventional system. The recording of each transaction, both for sale and purchase transactions of medicine is still recorded in a book. It may cause errors in the preparation of sales and purchase reports and medicine data collection. It may result losses to the company because the benefits are not appropriate. In addition, there is no recommendation system for medicine stock procurement. It means, there would be an accumulation of medicine stocks because procurement is not optimal. This study aims to design an information system that can facilitate the presentation of information and data management of sales transactions and recommendations for medicine procurement. To recommend medicine stock procurement, the system predicts sales in the next period using the single moving average method.
