Abstract
ABSTRAK Betonmerupakanunsur yang sangatpentingdalammengingatfungsinyasebagaisalahsatupembentukanstruktur yang paling banyakdigunakanolehmasyarakat, keadaansepertiinidapatdimengerti, karenasistemkonstruksibetonmempunyaibanyakhalkelebihanjikadibandingkandenganbahan lain. Dari latarbelakangtersebutdilakukanlaheksperimentalpenambahan resin terhadapkuattekanbetonmenambahkan resin polyestertersebutsebagaibahantambahdaribeton. Tujuandaripenelitianiniadalahuntukmengetahuiberapakuattekanbetontertinggidaripenambahan resin polyesterinisebagaicampuranpadabeton. Metodepenelitianiniialahmelakukanujilaboratoriumdenganmengaplikasikan resin polyester sebagaibahantambahandalamcampuranbeton. Denganmenambahkan resin polyester dalamcampuranbetondengankadar 10%, 11%, 12%, dariberatagregatkasardalampenelitianinidibuatbendaujibetonberbentuksilinderberdiameter150mm dengantinggi300mm dengankuattekanrencanasebesar 20 MPa yang diujipadasaatbetonberumur 28 hari. Penelitianinimengujikuattekanbetondenganjumlahmasing-masingpengujiansebanyak 12 silinderdenganjumlah 9 variasidimanamasing-masingvariasidibuat 3 silinderbeton. Hasilpenelitiandiperolehnilaikuattekan rata-rata tertinggiterdapatpadacampuranbeton normal yaitudengankuattekan rata-rata sebesar20,75 MPa. Dari pengujian di atasdapatdisimpulkanbahwapenambahan resin polyester padabetondenganpenambahan 10% diapatkannilai12,42 MPa, 11% mendapatkannilai11,19 MPa, dan 12% didapatkan11,03 MPa. Kata kunci: Beton, ,KuatTekan, Resin Polyester. ABSTRACT Concrete is a very important element in improving its function as one of the most widely used structures in society. This situation can be understood, because concrete construction systems have many advantages when compared with other materials. From this background an experimental addition of polyester resin to concrete compressive strength was carried out. The aim of this research is to find out the highest compressive strength of concrete from the addition of this polyester resin as a mixture to the concrete. This research was carried out by laboratory tests applying polyester resin as an added ingredient in the concrete mixture. By adding polyester resin in a mixture of 10%, 11%, 12%, from the weight of the coarse aggregate in this study a concrete test tube with a diameter of 150mm in diameter with a height of 300mm with a strong pressure of 20 MPa was tested at 28 days. This study examines the pressure of a total of 12 cylinders with each of the 9 variants of each variable making 3 concrete cylinders. The results showed the highest average compressive strength was found in a normal concrete mixture with an average compressive strength of 20.75 MPa. From the above test it can be concluded that the addition of polyester resin to concrete with the addition of 10% obtained a value of 12.42 MPa, 11% obtained a value of 11.19 MPa, and 12% obtained 11.03 MPa.
