Abstract
Abstrak Bus ekonomi merupakan salah satu moda transportasi yang ramah terhadap masyarakat ekonomi menegah ke bawah. Harapannya dengan adanya studi ini bahwa masyarakat ekonomi memiliki kemampuandalam membayar seiring dengan perbaikan kualitasdari bus rute Yogyakarta-Wates. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi Tarif Angkutan Umum Berdasarkan Ability To Pay (ATP) dan Willingnes To Pay (WTP). Tarif angkutan umum jurusan Yogyakarta – Wates untuk angkutan bus ekonomi adalah berkisar antar Rp. 10.00 - Rp.15.000. Metode pada studi ini ialah deskripsi kuantitatif, instrument pengumpulan data berupa kuisioner yang dibagikan kepada seluruh penumpang Bus Yogyakarta-Wates. Hasil dari studi ini didapatkan ATP Rp. >25.000.00 responden dari 30 sebanyak 37% (11 Responden) Hal ini berarti kemampuan membayar penumpang di bawah tarif yang berlaku dan WTP RP. >25.000,00 dari 30 responden 12 responden (40%) pemilih. Hal ini berarti kerelaan membayar penumpang harga tarif Rp. >25.000 untuk kategori umum maupun pelajar. Kata kunci: Ability To Pay, Kuesioner, Tarif, Willingness To Pay Abstract The economy bus is a mode of transportation that is friendly to the middle to lower economic community. It is hoped that this study helps the community have the ability to pay along with the quality improvement of Yogyakarta-Wates bus route. The purpose of this research was to evaluate the Public Transportation Tariff Based on Ability To Pay (ATP) and Willingnes To Pay (WTP). The fare for public transportation between Yogyakarta and Wates for economy buses is around Rp. 10.00 - Rp. 15,000. The method in this study was a quantitative description. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire which was distributed to all passengers of Yogyakarta-Wates Bus. The results of this study obtained an ATP of Rp. > 25,000.00 respondents from 30 as much as 37% (11 respondents). This means the ability to pay of the passengers was below the prevailing tariff and WTP of RP > 25,000.00 from 30 respondents 12 respondents (40%) were voters.
