Abstract
Muhammadiyah 1 Mlati Junior High School is one of the private junior high schools in Sleman Regency which is under the Primary and Secondary Education Council of the Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership of Sleman Regency and has hundreds of students. Academic data collection with such a large number of students and the desire of parents to monitor the academic development of their children makes it difficult for schools to carry out their duties. The parent / guardian information system based on the website of Muhammadiyah 1 Mlati Junior High School is an information system that provides management of academic information data at Muhammadiyah 1 Mlati Junior High School. The research methodology in making this information system is data collection, system analysis, system design, and system implementation. The object of this research is Muhammadiyah 1 Mlati Junior High School. The system created is a system that provides information to parents / guardians regarding students, including student attendance data, subject data, class data, student grade data, teacher data, licensing data and student violation data. The academic data management information system is built with the concept of website-based MVC (Model, View, Controller), using the Codeigniter 3 framework and MySQL as the database server. Interface design in building this system uses HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and Bootstrap, the programming language used is PHP (Hypertext Prepocessor), Visual Studio Code as a tool for writing program code. The final result of this research is that the information system of parents / guardians of Muhammadiyah 1 Mlati Junior High School students can be used to make it easier for parents / guardians to monitor their sons and daughters and make it easier for the school in terms of managing academic data.
