Abstract
ABSTRACT A library is an institution that provides a collection of written, printed and recorded library materials as an information center that is regulated according to a system of rules and is utilized for educational, research and intellectual recreation purposes for the community. The existence of a library as an information center is an absolute thing for an educational institution, because this is where all scientific materials are collected so that they can be easily studied, developed and disseminated. SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta has a library building which is used to provide independent learning facilities for students. Several problems arise due to incomplete supporting facilities at the library. One of them is the absence of an information system that helps record borrowing and book return transactions. This makes it difficult for librarians to obtain information on transactions that have occurred. For this reason, the authors propose the title Implementation of Library Management Information Systems. With this system, it is hoped that it can make it easier for officers to manage transactions and increase reading interest in students of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta.
