Abstract
Pantai Wotgalih terletak di Desa Yosowilangun, tepatnya di bagian selatan desa Yosowiangun di pesisir Samudera Hindia merupakan obyek wisata. Kawasan pantai selatan di Lumajang ini memiliki potensi pengembangan wisata yang besar dan telah terbangun satu mushola dan dua warung, sangat disayangkan kawasan pesisir pantai tersebut tidak dimanfaatkan sama sekali sehingga tidak menarik wisatawan setempat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi komparasi dan diselesaikan dengan alur di dalam site dengan penambahan sirkulasi dan pembentukan tata ruang serta struktur bangunan. Dengan konsep pendekatan karakteristik air yang ditimbulkan dalam site serta desain setiap ruang melalui warna, sirkulasi dan tinggi bangunan sesuai dengan penerapan sifat-sifat air. Pendekatan air yang diterapkan dalam site mencerminkan elemen dalam air yaitu pembentuk ruang, pembentuk dinding, pembentuk langit-langit, pembentuk lantai, gerakan, pandangan, pusat perhatian dan faktor air yang mempengaruhi perancangan arsitektur dan teori-teori dalam arsitektur, pengolahan yang terwujud yaitu bergelombang keras, tenang, beriak, berkabut, beku, mengalir, terjun. Kata Kunci : pesisir, kawasan, komparasi, karakteristik Wotgalih Beach is located in Yosowilangun Village, precisely in the southern part of Yosowiangun Village on the coast of the Indian Ocean. This southern coastal area in Lumajang has great tourism development potential and has built a prayer room and two stalls, it is unfortunate that the coastal area is not being used at all so it does not attract local tourists. The method used in this research is a comparative study and completed with the grooves within the site with the addition of circulation and the formation of spatial planning and building structures. With the concept of an approach to the characteristics of water generated in the site and the design of each space through color, circulation and building height according to the application of water properties. The water approach applied in the site reflects the elements in the water, namely space-forming, wall-forming, ceiling-forming, floor-forming, movement, views, center of attention and water factors that influence architectural design and theories in architecture, manifested processing is wavy loud, calm, rippling, foggy, frozen, flowing, plunging.
