Abstract

“Terlalu banyak bermain game membuat masa depan suram”. Begitulah pandangan masyarakat yang selama ini beredar dan itu menjadi rahasia umum di kalangan masyarakat Indonesia selama ini. Tapi di zaman sekarang ini bermain game bukanlah sesuatu yang hanya menghabiskan waktu tanpa menghasilkan apapun.Karena di beberapa negara sudah sering melakukan kompetisi game dengan hadiah yang besar bahkan profesi menjadi gamers di dunia internasional sudah menjadi pekerjaan utama yang menghasilkan ratusan ribu Dolar per tahun. Di Indonesia sendiri sudah banyak menjamur dan banyak tempat khusus untuk bermain games yang di namakan E-Sport Center. Tapi bedanya di Indonesia , belum banyak tempat yang terorganisir untuk bermain games. Dengan dilakukan nya perancangan E-Sport Center , di harapkan tercipta ketertarikan untuk serius mendalami profesi di bidang gaming khususnya di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta yang memiliki jumlah mahasiswa yang memiliki total mahasiswa cukup besar di Indonesia. Profesi sebagai gamers ini juga bisa mem backup calon sarjana yang kesulitan mencari kerja karena langka nya pekerjaan yang sesuai jurusan atau mungkin salah jurusan.Pendekatan high tech digunakan untuk merespon perancangan e-sport center karena bidang gaming sangat memerlukan teknologi komputer dan internet yang terbaru untuk memaksimalkan performa atlet dalam memenangkan setiap kompetisi. Selain itu konsep high tech digunakan karena memiliki kesan yang dinilai paling sesuai dengan menonjolkan segala struktur dan segala teknologi dalam utilitas bangunan nya. Kata kunci : E-Sport center ,Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, high tech "Too often playing games makes the future bleak". That is the view of the public that has been circulating and it is an open secret among the Indonesian people so far. But in this day and age playing games is not something that just wastes time without producing anything.Because in several countries, they often do game competitions with big prizes, even being a gamers in the international world has become the main job that generates hundreds of thousands of dollars per year. In Indonesia, there have been many special places to play games called the E- Sport Center. But the difference is that in Indonesia, there are not many organized places to play games. With the design of the E-Sport Center, it is hoped that there will be interest in seriously exploring the profession in the field of gaming, especially in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, which has a large number of students in Indonesia. The profession as a gamers can also back up prospective scholars who have difficulty finding work because of the scarcity of job vacancies that match their majors or maybe one of the wrong majors. The high-tech approach is used to respond to the design of e-sports centers because the gaming field requires the latest in computer and internet technology to maximize athletes' performance in winning every competition. In addition, the high tech concept is used because it has an impression that is considered the most appropriate by highlighting all structures and all technology in the utility of the building.
