Abstract
Abstrak Dewasa ini, perkembangan seni rupa di Kalimantan Barat khususnya Kota Pontianak meningkat dengan sangat pesat. Hal ini bisa dilihat dengan meningkatnya kegiatan seni seperti acara, komunitas, dan pameran. Beting merupakan kampung yang memiliki nilai budaya tinggi di Pontianak, kegiatan-kegiatan seni beberapa kali dilaksanakan di kampung ini. Namun, kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut tidak memiliki wadah khusus serta karya-karya yang telah dibuat tak terorganisir dan tidak dapat dinikmati kembali. Selain itu, para seniman juga tidak memiliki tempat bernaung untuk melakukan kegiatan seni, sehingga keberadaan mereka tidak terlalu dianggap oleh masyarakat. Tujuan perancangan Museum Seni Rupa Kalimantan Barat di Kota Pontianak diharapkan dapat memberikan fasilitas kegiatan seni yang baik dan secara khusus memberikan manfaat bagi para pelaku seni, Kampung Beting, serta masyarakat Kalimantan Barat. Saat ini kondisi kebijakan pemerintah tidak memiliki arah terhadap konsep arsitektural Kota Pontianak, sehingga membuat wajah Kota Pontianak menjadi tidak memiliki jati diri yang jelas. Perancangan Museum Seni Rupa Kalimantan Barat di Kota Pontianak dengan Pendekatan Arsitektur Ekspresionisme diharapkan dapat mengembalikan citra Kampung Beting serta memberikan wadah bagi pelaku seni, sekaligus membuka mata pemerintah daerah akan pentingnya kejelasan terhadap arsitektur Kota Pontianak. Kata Kunci : Wadah, Seni Rupa, Museum, Jati Diri, Arsitektur Ekspresionisme. Abstract Today’s development of fine arts in West Kalimantan, especially in Pontianak City, is increasing very rapidly. This can be seen with the increase in artistic activities such as events, communities, and exhibitions. Beting is a village high a cultural value in Pontianak, and several art activities have been held in this village. However, these activities do not have a special forum, the artworks are disorganized and cannot be reappreciated. Apart from that, the artists also do not have a shelter to carry out artistic activities, which makes their existence is not really considered by the community. The aim of designing the West Kalimantan Museum of Fine Arts in Pontianak City is expected to be able to provide good facilities for art activities, and specifically provide benefits for artists, Kampung Beting, and the people of West Kalimantan. Currently, the condition of government policies has no direction towards the architectural concept of Pontianak City, thus the look of Pontianak City has no clear identity. It is hoped that the design of the West Kalimantan Museum of Fine Arts in Pontianak City, using the Expressionism Architecture Approach, is expected to restore the image of Kampung Beting and provide a forum for the artists, as well as open the mind of the local government to the importance of clarity on the architecture of Pontianak City.
