Abstract
ABSTRAK CV Harico sebagai perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri manufaktur dengan produk akhir arang briket, dalam memproduksi berbagai macam jenis bentuk produk arang briket tersebut perusahaan perlu mempertimbangkan jumlah persediaan bahan baku yang harus disediakan. Masalah ini disebabkan CV Harico menerapkan sistem make to order dalam proses produksinya, sehingga jumlah bahan baku yang dibutuhkan setiap bulannya berbeda-beda dan sering terjadi dihadapkan dengan masalah bahan baku yang berlebihan. Dalam waktu satu bulan rata-rata pemesanan bahan baku arang batok sebesar 148.613 Kg, dipakai untuk permintaan proses produksi dengan total sebesar 126.500 Kg. Maka dengan ini dikhawatirkan proses produksi di dalam perusahaan akan terganggu. Dari masalah tersebut maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan hasil yang optimal dari persediaan bahan baku yang ada di CV Harico tersebut. Agar dapat mengetahui total biaya persediaan yang optimal pada persediaan bahan baku, maka metode yang dipakai adalah metode Continuous Review Model dan Hybrid System, karena pendekatan itu mengarah pada seberapa besar jumlah dan waktu yang diperlukan dalam pemesanan bahan baku. Selain itu berapa jumlah biaya yang harus dikeluarkan agar lebih efisien. Dari perhitungan dengan metode Continuous Review Model dan Hybrid System dapat dilihat hasil total biaya yang optimal untuk bahan baku arang batok dengan memakai metode Continuous Review Model dengan total nilai sebesar Rp 284.962.851/bulan. ABSTRACT CV Harico as a company engaged in the manufacturing industry with charcoal briquette end products, in producing various types of charcoal briquette products, the company needs to consider the amount of raw material inventory that must be provided. This problem is due to CV Harico implementing a make to order system in its production process, so that the amount of raw material needed each month varies and often is faced with excessive raw material problems. Within one month, the average order for raw shell charcoal is 148,613 kg, used for production process requests totaling 126,500 kg. So with this there is concern that the production process in the company will be disrupted. From these problems, the purpose of this study is to determine the optimal results from the supply of raw materials in CV Harico. In order to find out the optimal total cost of inventory on raw material supplies, the methods used are the Continuous Review Model and Hybrid System methods, because that approach leads to the amount and time needed to order raw materials. In addition, the amount of costs that must be incurred to be more efficient. From the calculations using the Continuous Review Model and Hybrid System methods, it can be seen that the optimal total cost results for raw shell charcoal using the Continuous Review Model method with a total value of Rp. 284,962,851 / month.
