Abstract
ABSTRACT Maintenance of fish in an aquarium needs to pay attention to fish health, one of which is to maintain water quality with regular water circulation so that the aquarium remains clean. Water circulation in the aquarium is important in maintaining fish health. When the aquarium is dirty, it is necessary to replace the water so that the quality of the water in the aquarium can be maintained and thus the fish in the aquarium are not prone to getting sick. This research is to design an automatic water circulation system in the aquarium where the dirty water will be replaced with new water. The control for aquarium water replacement uses an arduino uno microcontroller, while for water turbidity detection using a turbidity sensor. This system can detect water turbidity with a turbidity value that is read by the turbidity sensor based on the specified sensor value, which is <286 or <1.40, then the pump will drain the water until the water in the aquarium is almost exhausted then the system can fill the water in the aquarium until the water in the aquarium is full . Ultrasonic sensors are used to detect water levels. If the distance between the sensor and water is less than 4 cm, the system will read that the water in the aquarium is full. Meanwhile, if the distance between the sensor and water is more than 15 cm, the water in the aquarium is almost depleted. Keywords :turbidity, turbidity sensor, ultrasonic sensor
