Abstract
KHAFIZD ARIZAL KHANAN Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta North Ringroad St., Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta Email: khafizdkhanan@gmail.com ABSTRACT Toko Besi Trijaya Santosa is a company engaged in the sale of building materials. Currently, the Trijaya Santosa iron shop has not been able to compete to meet the information needs optimally where the data processing, from data collection and reporting of existing inventory, is still done manually, and there is no computerized system so that the data collection and reporting processes sometimes occur in calculations and recording errors goods. This study aims to build an inventory system design system that can provide inventory information, manage the data collection process for incoming goods, outgoing goods, and provide reports quickly and correctly. The system built also uses a barcode tool to help make data collection faster and more efficient when collecting goods. The application system built can facilitate data processing on goods, customers, incoming goods data, outgoing goods data, and more accurate, precise, and efficient reports. With the existence of a system that is assisted by a barcode tool, it is hoped that it can make it easier for agencies to collect data on goods and report data that have not been computerized so that the results of data collection and reports can be maximized and not easily lost or damaged.
