Abstract
Temanggung Regency is located in a highland area and has two mountains, namely Mount Sumbing and Mount Sindoro. This situation makes Temanggung Regency save stunning natural beauty. The tourism sector is the mainstay potential of Temanggung Regency, by continuing to build and develop new and old tourism objects to support the Temanggung Regency vision plan "Towards Temanggung Tentrem, Marem and Gandem for the welfare of the Temanggung people". There are many tourist objects, it is very unfortunate if their existence is not known by tourists. Therefore, the problem is the lack of information about tourist attractions in Temanggung Regency. The purpose of this research is to produce an information system for finding tourist attractions in Temanggung Regency which is expected to later be able to assist tourists in finding tourist attractions in Temanggung Regency along with the route to the location. The method used in this study uses the Waterfall method by applying the design of the map that is displayed using the Google Maps Application Programming Interface (API) service, the software used in building this application is Pear Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) as a programming language and MySQL as a database server. The results of this study are the creation of a web-based search information system for Temanggung Regency tourist attractions that can provide convenience to users by displaying information about a list of tours and culinary delights in Temanggung Regency, location names, location photos, location facilities, location phone numbers, location descriptions, location points from users to locations in the form of maps, existing event information, reviews provided by users, as well as the average review rating at each location and as a medium for tourism promotion in Temanggung Regency
