Abstract
Kulon Progo Regency is a regency in the province of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Kulon Progo also offers natural attractions such as tea gardens, waterfalls, and beaches. The development of tourism in Kulon Progo Regency and the number of tours in this city. So it is necessary to design a system to assist users in viewing tourist locations along with supporting facilities such as culinary, hotels, and transportation, namely searching for tourist locations in Kulon Progo Regency using an open street map. In building this location search system using Geographic Information Systems to facilitate the mapping. This location search system is presented in the form of a web-based map that is easy to understand and can be accessed via the internet. This location search system aims to find tourist locations along with the location of supporting facilities in Kulon Progo Regency and can provide information on tourist locations, tourist names, addresses, and route facilities to get to tourist sites.
