Abstract

Dalam era teknologi seperti sekarang ini game dapat menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengembangkan game edukasi “C++ Adventure” Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Pemrograman Dasar C++ Berbasis Android di SMK Pancasila 4 Baturetno, (2) mengukur kelayakan game edukasi “C++ Adventure” sebagai media Pemrograman Dasar C++ Berbasis Android dan (3) mengukur efektivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pemrograman dasar setelah menggunakan game edukasi “C++ Adventure”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan prosedural yang dimulai dari potensi dan masalah, mengumpulkan informasi, desain produk, validasi desain, perbaikan desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, dan uji coba pemakaian produk. Subjek dari penelitian ini terdiri dari 1 orang ahli untuk pengujian aspek media, 1 orang ahli untuk pengujian aspek materi, dan 36 siswa kelas X SMK Pancasila 4 Baturetno. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa wawancara, observasi, kuesioner, dan tes. “C++ Adventure” adalah sebuah media pembelajaran berbentuk game edukasi single-player bertema petualangan dengan genre Casual Platformer. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu (1) Game edukasi C++ Adventure dikembangkan menggunakan game engine Unity3D dengan Android sebagai target platform, (2) hasil uji kelayakan media menunjukkan game edukasi C++ Adventure layak digunakan dengan persentase sebesar 75,57%, materi pada game C++ Adventure layak digunakan dengan persentase sebesar 76,04%, dan user testing menunjukkan game C++ Adventure layak untuk digunakan dengan persentase sebesar 70,5% dan (3) hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan bahwa C++ Adventure cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan efektivitas belajar siswa dengan persentase sebesar 61%. This study aims to (1) develop the educational game "C++ Adventure" as an Android-Based Learning Media for Basic C++ Programming at SMK Pancasila 4 Baturetno, (2) measure the feasibility of the educational game "C++ Adventure" as an Android-Based C++ Basic Programming medium and (3) measuring the effectiveness of student learning in basic programming subjects after using the educational game "C++ Adventure". This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a procedural development model starting from potential and problems, collecting information, product design, design validation, design improvement, product testing, product revision, and product usage trials. The subjects of this study consisted of 1 expert for testing media aspects, 1 expert for testing material aspects, and 36 class X students of SMK Pancasila 4 Baturetno. Data collection techniques in this study in the form of interviews, observations, questionnaires, and tests. “C++ Adventure” is a learning media in the form of an adventure-themed single-player educational game with the Casual Platformer genre. The results of this study are (1) the C++ Adventure educational game was developed using the Unity3D game engine with Android as the target platform, (2) the results of the media feasibility test show that the C++ Adventure educational game is feasible to use with a percentage of 75.57%, the material in the C++ Adventure game feasible to use with a percentage of 76.04%, and user testing shows that the C++ Adventure game is feasible to use with a percentage of 70.5% and (3) the results of the effectiveness test show that C++ Adventure is effective enough to increase student learning effectiveness with a percentage of 61% .
