Abstract
Malang dikenal menjadi destinasi wisata bagi wisatawan dari dalam negeri maupun luar negeri karena keindahan alamnya. Kota Malang menjadi tujuan bagi mahasiswa dalam/luar untuk meneruskan pendidikan ke jenjang perguruan tinggi dikarenakan banyak perguruan tinggi terbaik dikota ini. Malang juga menjadi incaran para mahasiswa dan investor muda untuk memulai usaha dan bekerja, seperti membuka studio foto, café, seni rupa, musik, design produk, fashion designer, event organizer, wedding organizer dan banyak lagi industri kreatif yang di miliki di kota malang. Bekerja atau memulai usaha yang selama ini sebagian orang mengartikan adalah harus memiliki tempat untuk menjalankannya. Namun saat ini, sudah dikenal dalam membuat usaha dan bekerja kini dapat menjadi freelancer dengan tempat dan jam kerja yang lebih fleksibel, dan biasanya mereka lebih memilih rumah atau café sebagai tempat, namun tempat tersebut dirasa kurang kondusif dan masih belum mampu menyediakan fasilitas yang dibutuhkan. Oleh karena itu saat ini pun berkembang tempat yang dikenal dengan, co-working space. Tempat ini merupakan ruang bersama yang digunakan untuk melakukan pekerjaan. Co-working space sering digunakan sebagai kantor utama hingga tempat usaha dengan alasan bahwa modal masih sedikit dan belum mencukupi biaya sewa kantor. Selain itu, yang menjadi masalah Co-working space yang ada saat ini, belum dapat mengatasi masalah yang sebenarnya juga dihadapi para worker (pekerja) dalam kenyamanan suasana. Kenyamanan perlu didapatkan setiap orang dalam setiap kegiatannya, karena bila tidak mendapatkan kenyamanan, aktivitas akan tidak menjadi maksimal dan hilang konsentrasi. Melihat dari issue yang telah didapat bahwa karyawan di kantor konvensional tingkat kesetressan yang di miliki selama bekerja yang sangat padat adalah 1:3 maka dari itu perlu adanya relaxing dalam bekerja. Maka dari itu, co- working space dengan pendekatan relaksasi design sangat di butuhkan untuk para pekerja, dibuat untuk menghilangkan stress dalam bekerja agar para pekerja bisa lebih relax dalam menjalani pekerjaan sehariannya. Malang is known as a tourist destination for tourists from within and outside the country because of its natural beauty. The city of Malang is a destination for internal/external students to continue their education to the tertiary level because there are many best universities in this city. Malang is also a target for students and young investors to start businesses and work, such as opening photo studios, cafes, fine arts, music, product design, fashion designers, event organizers, wedding organizers and many more creative industries that are owned in the city of Malang. Working or starting a business that some people have interpreted is that you have to have a place to run it. However, nowadays, people who are already known for starting a business and working can now become freelancers with more flexible working hours and places, and usually they prefer a house or cafe as a place, but these places are considered less conducive and still unable to provide the facilities needed. Therefore, nowadays a place known as co-working space is also developing. This place is a common room used to do work. Co-working space is often used as a main office to a place of business with the reason is that the capital is still small and not sufficient for office rental costs. The problem with the current Co-working space is that it has not been able to overcome the problems that are actually also faced by workers in a comfortable atmosphere. Everyone needs to get comfort in every activity, because if you don't get comfort, the activity will not be maximal and you lose concentration. Judging from the issues that have been obtained that employees in conventional offices the level of stress they have while working very densely is 1:3, therefore it is necessary to relax at work. Therefore, a co-working space with a design relaxation approach is very much needed for workers, made to relieve stress at work so that workers can be more relaxed in carrying out their daily work.
