Abstract
Perencanaan jalan yang baik dapat dilihat dari berbagai kriteria yang dijadikan bahan pertimbangan untuk mengoptimalkan hasil dari perencanaan, diantaranya adalah memperhatikan parameter perencanaan mulai penggunaan jenis aspal, agregatm, dan bahan pengisi (filler) yang digunakan. Penggunaan aspal yang tepat akan mencegah kerusakan yang dapat terjadi akibat perubahan suhu dan beban kendaraan yang melintas atau sering disebut sifat daya tahan aspal. Dengan permasalahan tersebut, diperlukan penelitian untuk menganalisis kandungan air agregat pada campuran lapisan aspal beton ( AC-WC ) yang ditinjau dengan metode pengujian marshall serta prosedur pencampuran agregat dengan aspal untuk mensimulasikan sesuai yang terjadi dilapangan yaitu agregat masih mengandung air pada saat proses pencampuran sebesar 2,5% 3% dan 3,5%. Kata kunci: Agregat, Aspal, Jalan, Kadar Air, Karakteristik Marshall. Good road planning can be seen from various criteria that are taken into consideration to optimize the results of planning, including paying attention to planning parameters starting from the use of the type of asphalt, aggregate, and filler used. The proper use of asphalt will prevent damage that can occur due to changes in temperature and vehicle loads that are passing or often referred to as the durability of asphalt. With these problems, research is needed to analyze the aggregate water content in the asphalt concrete mix (AC-WC) which is reviewed by the Marshall test method and the procedure for mixing aggregates with asphalt to simulate what is happening in the field, namely the aggregate still contains water during the mixing process of 2 .5% 3% and 3.5%.
