Abstract
Kabupaten Lombok tengah berada di provinsi nusa tenggara barat tepatnya di pulau Lombok, yang dimana memiliki potensi wisata yang masih terjaga keasriannya. Potensi pariwisata yang dimiliki mulai dari wisata alam, kuliner, kebudayaan serta berbagai kerajinan. Suatu kebudayaan khas daerah dapat dijadikan pemicu atau penarik perhatian wisatawan lokal maupun mancanegara untuk datang menyaksikan dan menikmati langsung kebudayaan yang sedang berlangsung di daerah yang bersangkutan. Maka perlu adanya studi guna mewadahi berbagai macam budaya yang ada khususnya di pulau Lombok, yang dimana wadah tersebut akan menampung beberapa kebudayaan yang rutin setiap tahunnya agar para wisatawan dapat menikmati kebudayaan tersebut dalam satu tempat. Wadah yang di maksud ialah suatu pusat kebudayaan sebagai wadah untuk kebudayaan khas daerah setempat, guna memperkenalkan kebudayaan daerah ke para wisatawan local maupun mancanegara. Metode dalam perencanaan yang di gunakan dalam proses ini yaitu metode Kajian perancangan dalam mendesain Pusat Kebudayaan di Mandalika Lombok Tengah dengan menjelaskan dari proses perancangan yang diperoleh dari studi literature dan studi survey lapangan, sehingga dapat memberi gambaran untuk mendukung perancangan objek penelitian tersebut. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah mengenai proses desain dan perancangan bangunan pusat kebudayaan, yang mana akan diciptakan suatu wadah yang akan menampung kebudayaan daerah setempat guna memperkenalkan budaya setempat kepada wisatawan local dan mancanegara serta dapat mengadaptasi dengan bentuk ciri khas daerah setempat. Central Lombok Regency is located in the province of West Nusa Tenggara, precisely on the island of Lombok, which has tourism potential that is still maintained in its beauty. The tourism potential that is owned starts from nature tourism, culinary, culture and various crafts. A typical regional culture can be used as a trigger or attract the attention of local and foreign tourists to come to witness and directly enjoy the ongoing culture in the area concerned. It is necessary to conduct a study to accommodate the various cultures that exist, especially on the island of Lombok, where the container will accommodate several cultures that are routine every year so that tourists can enjoy these cultures in one place. The container in question is a cultural center as a forum for local culture to introduce local culture to local and foreign tourists. The planning method used in this process is the design study method in designing the Cultural Center in Mandalika, Central Lombok by explaining the design process obtained from literature studies and field survey studies, so that it can provide an overview to support the design of the research object. The conclusion of this research is about the design process and the design of the cultural center building, which will create a container that will accommodate the local culture in order to introduce local culture to local and foreign tourists and can adapt it to the shape of the local characteristics.
