Abstract
ABSTRAK Kabupaten Pulau Morotai merupakan sebuah pulau sekaligus kabupaten yang terletak di pulau Halmahera, sebagai bagian dari Provinsi Maluku Utara. Pulau Morotai memiliki luas wilayah mencapai 2.314,90 km², meliputi pulau-pulau (daratan) dan lautan dengan 5 Kecamatan. Pusat pemerintahan dan ibukota Kabupaten Pulau Morotai adalah Kecamatan Morotai Selatan. Sarana transportasi dari Pulau Halmahera ke Pulau Morotai ini dapat menggunakan kapal penumpang (ferry) dan speed boat. Pengembangan wisata bahari di Desa Kolorai Kecamatan Morotai Selatan dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat pesisir pantai, meskipun peluang ekonomi cukup baik pengembangan wisata bahari ini belum terlibat seluruhnya oleh masyarakat pesisir pantai Desa Kolorai, tetapi hal ini sudah mampu menaikkan perekonomian dan sosial masyarakat lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak pengembangan pariwisata bahari terhadap kondisi sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat di Desa Kolorai Kecamatan Morotai Selatan Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif, pendekatan kuantitatif untuk melihat gambaran kondisi saat ini.teknik pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan pengamatan secara langsung dilapangan dengan metode pengamatan dan wawancara. Metode pengumpulan data pada teknik pengumpulan data primer yaitu yang berasal dari sumber asli atau pertama dan harus dicari melalui narasumber atau responden yang telah ditentukan melalui sampel, sedangkan pengumpulan data sekunder adalah informasi yang diperoleh tidak secara langsung dari responden, tetapi dari pihak ketiga. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah adalah masyarakat di Desa Kolorai yang berada dan bekerja di dalam kawasan wisata bahari dengan jumlah responden 53 orang. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari pengembangan wisata bahari di Desa Kolorai mempengaruhi peran masyarakat yang berada di dalam Kawasan wisata bahari terutama penduduk lokal dengan memberikan dampak positif, dengan memberikan penyerapan tenaga kerja dari adanya pengembangan wisata bahari di Desa Kolorai terjadi melalui usaha-usaha yang berkaitan dengan wisata. Dan perubahan pekerjaan pada masyarakat sehingga pendapatan akan mengalami kenaikan, sehingga dari aspek sosial masyarakat dengan adanya perubahan gaya hidup dan cara berpakaian. Morotai Island has an area of 2,314.90 km², covering the islands (land) and the ocean with 5 sub-districts. The administrative center and capital of Morotai Island Regency is South Morotai District. The means of transportation from Halmahera Island to Morotai Island can use passenger ships (ferry) and speed boats. The development of marine tourism in Kolorai Village, South Morotai District can have a positive impact on coastal communities, although the economic opportunities are quite good, the development of marine tourism has not been fully involved by the coastal communities of Kolorai Village, but this has been able to increase the local economy and social community. This study aims to determine the impact of marine tourism development on the social and economic conditions of the community in Kolorai Village, South Morotai District The research method used is a quantitative method, a quantitative approach to see a picture of the current condition. The primary data collection technique was carried out by observation and direct observation in the field using observation and interview methods. Data collection methods in primary data collection techniques are those that come from original or first sources and must be sought through sources or respondents who have been determined through samples, while secondary data collection is information obtained not directly from respondents, but from third parties. The sampling technique in this study is the people in Kolorai Village who live and work in the marine tourism area with a total of 53 respondents. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed using SPSS software. The results show that the development of marine tourism in Kolorai Village affects the role of the community in the marine tourism area, especially local residents by providing a positive impact, by providing employment from the development of marine tourism in Kolorai Village through businesses related to tourism. . And changes in work in the community so that income will increase, so from the social aspect of society with changes in lifestyle and way of dressing. Keywords: Kolorai, social; economy
