Abstract

SALES INFORMATION SYSTEM DESIGN WEB-BASED (Case Study: Shoe Heaven Shop, Karang Gayam, Sleman-DIY) Desi Ayu Rahmawati, Ahmad Tri Hidayat, S.Kom., M.Kom Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : desiayur13@gmail.com ABSTRACT Toko Surga Sepatu is a business engaged in the sale of shoes with various brands of shoes. At this time, Toko Surga Sepatu is still experiencing problems in terms of product promotion and expansion of its marketing reach and there is no reporting system to the store manager. In addition, the process of collecting product data and searching for product data is still by using bookkeeping so that errors or losses often occur in processing sales data. Therefore we need a system that can provide solutions to these problems so that sales can reach wider marketing and can increase product sales at shoe paradise stores. The support system will be poured by the author in the form of a Final Project entitled "Design of a Web-Based Sales Information System". The proposed system is a website-based e-commerce system that will improve the old system to be more effective and efficient in terms of promotion, marketing, and data management. Data collection techniques using descriptive observation research methods, direct interviews with the parties concerned and literature study. The software used in this study uses the CodeIgniter (PHP) framework as a programming language, MySQL as a database storage, and Midtrans as a payment gateway assistant.
