Abstract

UPAYA PERBAIKAN KUALITAS PRODUK BATIK DI BERKAH LESTARI DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE NEW SEVEN TOOLS Dina Hermayunita 1, Widya Setiafindari 2 1,Program Studi Teknik Industri, Fakultas Sains & Teknologi Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta ABSTRAK Batik Berkah Lestari merupakan salah satu tempat produksi batik di desa Giriloyo Imogiri Bantul, Kelompok Batik dengan rata-rata jumlah produksi yang dihasilkan 25 lembar Batik perbulan tergantung pesanan. Kelompok Batik Berkah Lestari dalam proses produksi masih terdapat produk cacat, Dalam penelitian ini data yang diproduksi dari Januari sampai Desember tahun 2020 masih terdapat produk cacat dengan jumlah rata- rata produk cacat sebesar 2,16 % perbulan sehingga mengakibatkan terjadi proses produksi ulang, penambahan biaya produksi dan penambahan waktu produksi. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan yaitu New Seven Tools. Metode tersebut digunakan untuk mengetahui penyebab cacat produk Batik yang paling dominan dan mengetahui usulan perbaikan untuk mencegah terjadinya kecacatan produk Batik. Di dalamnya terdiri dari Affinity Diagram, Tree Diagram, Arrow Diagram, Process Decision Program Chart (PDPC), Relationship Diagram, Matrix Diagram dan Matrix Data Analisys. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diketahui beberapa faktor yang menjadi penyebab diantaranya: Alat, operator, material, metode dan lingkungan. Usulan perbaikan yang sebaiknya dilakukan oleh Kelompok Batik Berkah Lestari adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan tambahan kepada karyawan, Melakukan perawatan berkala untuk Alat produksi, menggunakan Checksheet agar dapat merekap dan meminimalisir jenis cacat serta bekerja sesuai SOP Proses Produksi agar proses berjalan sesuai dengan standar tertentu dan memberikan tempat lebih nyaman . Proposed improvements that should be made by the Batik Berkah Lestari Group are to provide additional training to employees, Perform periodic maintenance for production equipment, use Checksheets to be able to recap and minimize types of defects and work according to the SOP for the Production Process so that the process runs according to certain standards and provides a place more comfortable .
