Abstract
This research was conducted to find out and evaluate the payroll system and procedures for employees at the Regional Tax Service Office (KPPD) in Sleman Regency. KPPD of Sleman Regency is a government agency that has the main task of collecting taxes and the like in the Sleman Regency environment such as Motorized Vehicle Tax (PKB), Motorized Vehicle Title Transfer Fee (BBN-KB), Surface Water (AP), levies and others. other legitimate regional original income, implementation of data collection and determination of PKB, BBN-KB, AP, levies and other legitimate regional original income. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with observation and interviews as a tool for collecting data. The results of this study indicate that the payroll system and procedures at the Sleman Regency KPPD are in accordance with the applicable policies/statutes, meaning that the procedures are in accordance with the SOP.
