Abstract

DEVELOPMENT OF PAYMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS FOR SCHOOL ACTIVITIES USING TRANSACTION AUTOMATION CONCEPT (Case Study: SMAN 9 Merangin) M. Ahyardi, Joko Aryanto Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : muhammadahyardi@gmail.com, joko.aryanto@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT Currently, the payment system for school activities at SMAN 9 Merangin still uses a Manual-based system (Paper Base) which in its process still uses direct transactions at school and in the process of managing the recording of payment data it becomes difficult to manage because there is no computerized and centralized system that uses the concept of automation in transactions. In addition, in terms of announcements and notifications related to payments, they are still being made directly and have not implemented notifications in the process. Given these problems, we need an information system for paying for school activities that uses the concept of automation in transactions so that it can provide efficiency in the processes that occur in payment activities. The purpose of this research is to develop an information system for paying for school activities at SMAN 9 Merangin by using the concept of transaction automation and implementing a payment information system that is able to solve the problem of paying for activities at SMAN 9 Merangin. The result obtained from the development of this system is the formation of a school activity payment information system that applies the concept of transaction automation in its process and the system provides notifications when there are new bills and when student or employee payment transactions occur.. Keywords: Information Systems, Payments, Automation, Payment Transactions.
