Abstract

PPDB merupakan salah satu sistem yang dirancang untuk melakukan penyeleksian peserta didik secara otomatis mulai dari proses pendaftaran sampai dengan pengumuman hasil seleksi. SMP Negeri 2 Lelea adalah Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) yang paling populer yang terletak di Kabupaten Indramayu, Jawa Barat. Sistem penerimaan peserta didik baru di sekolah tersebut masih menggunakan metode konvensional, dimana calon peserta didik masih harus datang langsung ke sekolah untuk mengisi formulir, panitia yang kesulitan melakukan pembukuan terkait lembaran kertas persyaratan PPDB serta pemanfaatan Google Form dan Google Drive yang dirasa masih kurang efektif dan efisien. Penentuan PPDB menggunakan sistem pendukung keputusan model Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), ditinjau juga dari perankingan dan kuota pendaftar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mempermudah panitia PPDB dalam mengolah data siswa serta memudahkan calon orang tua siswa ketika mendaftarkan anaknya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode R&D (Research and Development) dengan modelnya waterfall. Model waterfall terdiri dari 5 (lima) tahapan yaitu analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, penulisan kode program, pengujian program dan pemeliharaan program. Sistem informasi PPDB telah lolos dalam tahap pengujian menurut standar ISO 25010 dengan 4 kriteria aspek uji, yaitu Functional Suitability dengan hasil fungsi dapat berjalan sesuai dengan fungsionalitasnya, Usability dengan nilai 95,3% yang berarti sistem sangat layak digunakan, Reliability yang berhasil diujikan dengan aplikasi Web Server Stress Tool 8 tanpa adanya error, dan Portability yang diujikan ke beberapa web browser dengan sistem operasi yang berbeda didapatkan hasil bahwa sistem dapat berjalan dengan sangat baik. Hasil produk yang akan dibuat adalah berupa sebuah sistem informasi penerimaan peserta didik baru berbasis web. PPDB is one of the systems designed to automatically select students starting from the registration process to the announcement of selection results. SMP Negeri 2 Lelea is the most popular Junior High School located in Indramayu Regency, West Java. The admission system for new students at the school still uses conventional methods, where prospective students still have to come directly to the school to fill out forms, the committee has difficulty doing bookkeeping related to PPDB requirements paper sheets and the use of Google Forms and Google Drive which are still considered ineffective and efficient. The determination of PPDB uses a decision support system of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) model, in terms of ranking and quota of registrants. The purpose of this study is to make it easier for the PPDB committee to process student data and make it easier for prospective parents when registering their children. The research method used is the R&D (Research and Development) method with the waterfall model. The model consists of 5 (five) stages, namely requirements analysis, system design, writing program code, program testing and program maintenance. The PPDB information system has passed the testing stage according to the ISO 25010 standard with 4 test aspect criteria, namely Functional Suitability with the results that the function can run according to its functionality, Usability with a value of 95.3% which means the system is very feasible to use, Reliability that was successfully tested with the Web Server Stress Tool 8 application without any errors, and Portability tested to several web browsers with different operating systems results that the system can run very well. The result of the product to be created is in the form of a new web-based student admission information system.
