Abstract

The purpose of this final assignment report is to determine payroll procedures, payroll accounting information systems, and perceptions of Yogyakarta City BKPSDM employees regarding the implementation of the latest payroll application for the Regional Government Information System of the Republic of Indonesia (SIPD-RI). The implementation of the SIPD-RI payroll application is regulated in Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 70 of 2019. The importance of implementing SIPD-RI is the background to which this final assignment report was prepared. To find out the procedures and quality of the payroll information system, the author compared the Regional Financial Management Information System (SIPKD) with SIPD-RI through accounting information system analysis, interviews and distributing questionnaires to BKPSDM employees. The research results show that the SIPD-RI payroll application system helps financial management in each Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) to help input, process, transfer data on a wide network and minimize corruption because this application is supervised by the central Ministry of Finance in collaboration with the Financial Audit Agency . It's just that the network on the SIPD-RI application is not optimal, so maintenance often occurs which disrupts the performance of BKPSDM employees.
