Abstract
This study aims to analyze the values of heroism in Antigone play. The first objective is to discuss the values of heroism that shown in Antigone's actions. The second objective aims to discuss the impact of her actions on herself and on her environment. It is descriptive qualitative research, and the researcher adopts the Bernstein theory about values of heroism. To collect the data, the researcher reading in depth about everything related to the specified topic and note-taking techniques. This study finds that there are four heroism values from Bernstein that will be discussed. There are moral greatness, ability or prowess, action in the face of opposition and triumph (spiritual or physical). It can be seen that Antigone's actions belong to this theory. She was considered by King Creon as a traitor, because she had buried a traitor too, Polyneices. Her actions have an impact on her and her environment. She was punished by Creon with exile, and she eventually committed suicide. However, she did not die in vain, as she left behind a legacy. A legacy to continue to courageously make social change and stand up for the truth.
