Abstract

The analysis of financial performance in employee cooperatives within the banking sector utilizes financial ratio analysis. The selection of this topic is based on the critical importance of effective financial management for ensuring the sustainability and financial health of cooperatives, particularly in the banking sector, which plays a strategic role. The purpose of this final assignment is to assess the performance of employee cooperatives by analyzing liquidity, solvency, and profitability ratios. The data used in this study comprises the annual financial reports of employee cooperatives in the banking sector for the years 2022, 2023, and 2024, which serve as the subjects of this analysis. This report provides an overview of the financial position and performance of the employee cooperatives. The findings reveal variations in the liquidity, solvency, and profitability levels among the cooperatives. In 2024, one cooperative ranked highest due to its strong liquidity position and low solvency risk. The implications of this study include recommendations for cooperative management to conduct periodic evaluations of financial ratios, identify areas requiring improvement, and formulate policies to enhance efficiency and competitiveness relative to other cooperatives. Additionally, the results of this analysis can serve as a reference for cooperative members and other stakeholders in understanding the financial health of their cooperatives.
