Abstract
ABSTRACT Aside from being a house, the house is also used as a protection tool from rain, air temperature and security of residents of the house. Not a few homeowners lose items in their homes when leaving their homes. Considering the profession of people in this age that often requires leaving home to go to work, both in the city and outside the city, the solution that has so far been carried out by most people includes employing security guards to guard the house. However, this solution is less efficient for homes that are not so big. At present there are many home security systems based on CCTV (Close Circuit Television). CCTV security systems also have less effectiveness, because they require more devices and large enough storage memory. Besides requiring more devices, CCTV security systems also cannot detect disaster factors, fires, and gas leaks. The lack of a security system that uses security services and CCTV-based services above can be covered by detection of intruders using PIR sensors, cameras, temperature sensors (DHT11), gas sensors (MQ-135) and Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. PIR sensors are used because the sensor can detect infrared waves emanating from humans, so that the target object is humans. The temperature sensor (DHT11) is used to detect room temperature. When the room temperature rises to an unnatural limit, the system will send information to the homeowner as a fire warning. The gas sensor (MQ-02) functions to detect the presence of a gas leak, so the system will disconnect the main electrical power supply to the house. This Raspberry Pi 3 Model B is a mini Personal Computer (PC) that can be programmed using the Python language to turn on the camera and take pictures of activities at home when the PIR sensor detects intruders who then send photos via Telegram applications to homeowners without having to require large storage media. The results of the parameters obtained from the sensor will be processed by the system and then become a reference as information for the homeowners. The PIR sensor will issue a voltage of 3.21 Volt when it detects heat, and the MQ-2 sensor becomes 0.00 Volt when it detects gas. The DHT11 sensor has a flat error - average 0.7ºC with a thermometer in general that can be used by the public. Key words : Raspberry, Close Circuit Television, Internet Of Things, Telegram, Python IDLE
